A: The Local Connector comes out once a week, on Wednesdays.
Q: Where can I find your publication?
A: You can pick up a hard copy at the locations listed inside The Local Connector NW. You can join our email blast to have each weeks edition sent to you, join our Facebook page or click the "editions" tab for all current and archived editions.
Q: What is your submission deadline?
A: Monday at 4 PM for that weeks editions
Q: Why should we advertise with you instead of other venues?
A: We have found a proven method of reaching possible customers and clients that is both effective and affordable with the option of targeting certain areas up to regional advertising with a publication that is informative, entertaining and engages the reader.
We reach thousands of people in various forms including print copies, social media coverage (Facebook, Instagram & Twitter) and a large email blast all on a weekly basis. We have 2 publications; The Local Connector NW distributed in Fraser Lake, Burns Lake, Southbank, Topley, Granisle, Houston, Telkwa, and Smithers. The Local Connector PG is distributed in Vanderhoof and Prince George. We print The Local Connector NW in black & white to keep the advertiser’s costs down, everything online is in colour. The Local Connector PG is printed in colour at no extra charge to the advertiser at this time. The print version is personally delivered to over 100+ locations and is strategically placed to get the advertiser’s the most exposure. We offer a variety of options for savings Ads can be changed weekly at no charge and ad design is complimentary.
Q: Is there a discount to advertise for a longer term?
A: Yes, there are many options available to best suit your budget and advertising needs.
Q: How do you help the local communities?
A: With the help of our many partnerships and advertisers, we were able to donate $32,000 in advertising space, locally purchased products for donations and giveaways.
Q: With all the paper products you produce, are you environmentally friendly?
A: Absolutely! All paper products along with toner cartridges and ink is all recycled. We carpool for delivering and business requirements to cut down on emissions.
Q: What's free for submission and what's not?
A: Individual items not business related and community events listings are free for submission. Real Estate, Rentals, Employment Opportunities, Obituaries & Memoriums, Business Advertising and Business Directory Listings can be listed at a cost.
Q: How do you keep the classifieds free for the public?
A: The advertisers/partnerships help us with the cost of the time/printing /posting on social media. Please remember these business's when shopping for products and services, without them this publication would not be available.
