A true Canadian story

I had what I consider to be a very Canadian moment today. I came up to a four-way stop at exactly the same time that three other cars came to stop at the other stop signs. At the same time two groups of pedestrians wanted to cross. So what do you think happened? All six of us motioned for other people to go first. And then we all started to laugh because nobody was moving. Then we started to laugh harder as we all wondered how to get out of this dilemma. One bright spark of a pedestrian put both hands up and went to the middle of the intersection like a traffic cop. He bowed first, and then one by one told us when to go. Only in Canada.
